Netflix Adds VGA Support for iPad

A couple of weeks ago, I did a demo video showing off iPads ability to send video out via the VGA adapter. One of the downsides was the lack of support from apps like Netflix and ABC player.

Today, the 1.0.2 update adds support for video out via the VGA adapter, and it works great.

Thank you Netflix for the update, giving one more way to enjoy streaming content to our large screens.
Now, they just need to add more “current” content to the instant play service..

To complete this picture we would need some sort of VGA > HDMI adaptor so we can play videos on a TV that doesn't have a VGA connector. There are many out there but has anyone found one that works? I've tried the Atlona VGA to HDMI Scaler/Converter (USB Powered). Model: AT-HDVieW and it does not. I think that the iPad is looking for a signal that a VGA monitor is attached and is not getting that que from this device.
